Sink Tip lines are a combination of a floating running line and a 6' to 20' tip that sinks. The tips vary according to the sink rate classification. The advantages of the Sink Tip is that you can easily pick up the line after casting and you have more line control once the cast is made. The Sink Tip lines are primarily used in large stream applications. Currents and the length of your sink tip will vary the depth at which the sink tip can reach.
A guide to this sink rate classification is as follows:

| The Mastery Wet Tip is an all-purpose sink tip line. It comes with 4 different sink rates from Type 2 to Type 5. The line has a low stiffness with a moderate delivery. The graduated density from the tapered tip to the fly line allows for smoother casting. Coloration differences with the line easily allows you to discern the sink tip from the fly line and identify sink type. Wet Tip also comes in a clear intermediate for stealthy, clear water presentations of 2-4' depth. The Wet Tip Express allows you to get the tip down deep and fast. It comes with 7 grain densities that correspond to your rod weight with a sink rate of 4.0-8.0 ips. The Streamer Express has 6 different grain weights with a 30' tapered head to cast streamers more easily. Streamer Express has sink rates of 5.0 to 8.0 ips. |

| The Precision Sink Tip lines are a WF(Rocket) taper for rod weights 4-10. 10' in Type 3 or Type 6 sinking tip to easily mend and pickup. The Presicion also comes in a Ghost Tip which is a clear intermediate descent tip about 15' in length. The 333+ Sink Tip was reengineered for faster action rods with a longer belly for greater casting distance with a type 3 descent rate. The 333 Pro Sink Tip lines come in two descent rates, Type 3 and 6. It is a ten foot tip with a long belly that allows for distance casting. |
