Tying Instructions: Griffiths Gnat
1. Create a thread base and attach a fine wire ribbing to the start of the bend on the hook.
Step One
2. Attach a Grizzly hackle by the butt with the concave side facing you. The hackle should be no longer than 1.5 x's the hook gap. Also tie in 3 herls by the tip and secure. Wrap thread to about one hook eye length behind the eye.
Step Two
3. Wrap the herl around the wire ribbing and bring the reinforced peacock forward over thread base to just behind the eye.
Step Three
4. Wind Hackle forward over peacock and tie off. Whip finish and apply head cement.
Step Four
