Tying Instructions: Cutter's Floating Snail
1. Attach the thread just behind the eye of the hook and lay a thread foundation to the start of the hook bend. Attach the end of the ice chennille and bring the thread back to about one eye length behind the eye.
2. Wrap the chennille forward, pulling the material to the rear for each subsequent wrap. Wrap up to about one eye length behind the eye and tie off.
3. Attach the saddle hackle by the butt end with the front of the hackle facing the eye.
4. Give two wraps of the hackle and secure. You do not want to over hackle the pattern. Whip Finish. |
