Lower Twin Lakes CampgroundTake US Highway 395 which runs through Bridgeport. From the south, you would turn left at the Texaco. Travel on the Twin Lakes Road for about 9.6 miles, then make a left turn onto South Twin Road and go approximately 0.6 miles across the bridge. Lower Twin Lakes is located in large Jeffrey pine trees and sagebrush. Robinson Creek runs by the campground and Lower Twin Lakes is within walking distance. Interpretive programs are provided at Robinson Creek Campground, one mile away. There is good fishing in both Robinson Creek and Upper and Lower Twin Lakes. There is also good hiking opportunities in the area. Firewood is sold at the campground. There are 22 sites available. Piped water, Chemical Toilets, Fire Rings. Robinson Creek CampgroundHas 54 sites at an elevation of 7,600 feet. Highway 395 runs through Bridgeport. Turn south on the Twin Lakes Road at the Texaco. Travel on the Twin Lakes Road for about 9.3 miles, left turn at Robinson Creek Campground.This Campground is located in the mountains with large Jeffrey pine trees and sagebrush. Robinson Creek runs by this campground, and nearby are the Lower and Upper Twin Lakes and Hoover Wilderness. Opening and closing dates depend on the weather condition. Bears are in the area. There is good fishing in Robinson Creek and Upper/ Lower Twin Lakes. Good hiking and hunting, opportunities in the area Interpretive programs are conducted July 4 through Labor Day Robinson Creek is split into two separate campgrounds. Trumball Lake Campground Trumball has 45 sites at an elevation of 9,500 feet. Travel 13.5 miles south from Bridgeport on Highway 395. Turn right at Conway Summit. Travel 5.9 miles on Forest Road 21 to where the asphalt turns to gravel. Turn right at campground entrance. Located at a high elevation, in the lodgepole pine trees, with the Hoover Wilderness nearby. Firewood is sold at the campground. Most sites are shaded. Many local lakes and high peaks.

Buckeye CampgroundBuckeye has 65 sites at an elevation of 7,000'. From Bridgeport, drive 7 miles southwest on the Twin Lakes Road to Doc and Al's Resort. Turn right at the resort and follow the road around behind it for three miles. Follow the signs to the campground entrance. Buckeye Creek flows next to the campground and provides opportunities for a different kind of fishing than most areas. The creek isn't as crowded as most of the other streams in the area and it doesn't get fished as much due to the fact that there isn't easy access to Buckeye Creek like there is to Robinson Creek. The nearest lakes are the Twin Lakes. The campground is well shaded and has water available, flush toilets, and it is paved.

The West Walker River flows through the campground and provides excellent fishing. The West Walker River has been nominated for National Wild and Scenic River designation. Bootleg CampgroundBootleg has 63 sites at an elevation of 6,600'. From Bridgeport, drive 22 miles north on highway 395. The campground is right off 395 on the left hand side of the road. The West Walker River is located just on the other side of the road from the campground and offers great fishing. The West Walker River has been nominated for National Wild and Scenic River designation. Most of the sites in Bootleg are shaded by Jeffrey Pine trees, and the campground is paved. Bootleg has water available and flush toilets.
